Petrified Wood inspires my soul to dream of ancient times, when the moon was rising over immense forests and oceans. Long before man came upon the Earth and it was wild with wooly creatures. That is the "perspective on time" feeling I get holding one of these old stones. Meditative, soulful, dreaming...

These are ancient stones, from forests thousands of lifetimes long ago that have fossilized into actual stone. Beautiful earthtone shades of pink with red, orange, gold, black, tan in stripes, swirls and mysterious ripples. Each one of a kind! And a nice pocket size too. These stones been tumbled to a nice flat smooth texture, so it feels comfortable in the hand without being overly processed. I like the little bit of natural texture.

Petrified wood is the perfect stone for shamanic journeying, accessing ancient wisdom, honoring ancestors, stability, grounding and lower chakra work.
