It has a rustic, rugged look which mirrors the attitude one needs to plow through life's mud and muck. It's pretty green color feels hopeful...and energetic. Love it!Variscite grows in nodules and crusts in irregular patterns. So it looks very unlike most stones when it is tumbled as the rock matrix crust becomes part of the finished stone. It is a wonderful mineral that has many metaphysical uses, including overcoming despair, especially over difficult illnesses. It can give one courage and insight to help in the healing process.Each stone is a variable, light spring green color. They fit wonderfully in the palm and are a good size to wire wrap, carry in the pocket or hand. The quality is gemmy and translucent held up to light. These are naturally patterned with internal layers and structures like a mosaic - so pretty, almost rustic. There is no thumb "indent" just a continuous smooth and flat surface with gently rounded sides. You can see from the picture that the color is exceptional. You are buying 2  (Two) Rutilated PREHNITE with Black Tourmaline and Epidote Needles in a Semi-Rough Tumbled Stone Crystal that is from the same lot pictured.  This is a very lovely tumbled stone with a refreshing, translucent green color with a mix of rutilated Black Tourmaline and/or Epidote needles, spots veins or inclusions.  Overall the Prehnite spiritual energy is calming. These originate from South Africa, which has some of the very best Prehnite. You can choose from 2 different sizes: Size: Medium = .80 - .99" width Stone Count: 2  This mix is considered Semi-Rough tumbled as the natural shapes of the crystals have been preserved rather than over-tumbled so they have natural nooks and crannies.  These are lightly tumbled, but still smooth and somewhat shiny to preserve more of the natural material.   Notes From My Professional ExperienceIn my healing practice, I use Prehnite primarily for profound metaphysical healing and heart healing.  It is one of the premier stones when one must calm the heart and allow the higher self to lead, rather than the ego.
